This website is a labor of love. With this site, I hope to show the beauty of the Grand Canyon and to help people to find out those things they need to know to have a wonderful visit. The Canyon can be such a profound experience. In my view, knowing what to expect and getting good information allows one to experience the beauty with a little more freedom. That is the purpose of this site.

A second purpose for this site is to allow those who are unable to visit the Grand Canyon the chance to experience a little of what it's like to be there. Being from the center of the United States, I also had to experience the Canyon through the eyes of others for many years before I could make the trip. I hope this site will give people a taste of that experience.
